Starlink Mini - RACE MOUNT
The Race Mount is designed to mount your Starlink Mini below the roof line of your vehicle. This protects your system from tree branches, rocks, or even a potential rollover of the vehicle. This is also keeps all cables inside the cockpit reducing the chances of the dish coming unplugged or potential cable damage.
* A rectangular hole that is just about the same size as the Mini dish will most likely have to be cut out of your roof material to install this mount. (The dish can work through fiberglass, fabric, and plastic surfaces. Please test your dish on the desired material if you wish to skip cutting out the rectangle) Moisture may be able to enter the rectangular opening (if you cut it) as it may not be completely sealed from the outside of the vehicle.
Made of 6061 Aluminum with press fit threaded inserts and stainless steel hardware. A heavy duty polyethylene base safely secures your dish even in the roughest terrain.
The Mini dish is removable without having to remove the mount.
Installation
Step 1. Check the inside of your vehicle for dish clearance then lay the mount on top of the roof in the desired location.
Step 2. Trace out the rectangle opening for the dish and the (4) 1/4" holes on the outside edge of the mount. See image attached for reference. (If you want to transfer the roof vinyl wrap to the dish, use a razor blade to remove the wrap before cutting out the rectangular section. Then simply transfer it to the Mini dish.
Step 3. Cut out the center rectangle and drill the (4) holes using a 1/4" bit.
Step 4. Bolt the mount to the underside of the roof with the plastic parts facing down.
